Christine Villneff is a Health Promoter in Public Health with the Nova Scotia Health Authority. Previously, she has been a health promoter in Ontario as well as a project manager for Health Partners International of Canada working on access to medicines with the Ministry of Public Health in Kabul, Afghanistan. She has a passion of public policy development and community collaboration. She is currently working in Inverness and Victoria Counties to address child poverty issues and equity as well as municipal alcohol policies. The past year she has been working on the Raising the Villages – Mawiomi W’Jit Mijuwajijk movement. Christine has her Bachelors of Arts in Community Health from Brock University and a post-grad certificate in International Project Management from Humber College. When she’s not working, she’s at the beach or on a trail with her two young boys.
