Municipal Councillor, Inverness County
Jim Mustard, with his partner Margaret live in Pipers Glen in Inverness County with a family that includes 3 birth children and a number of young people who found themselves in foster care for part of their lives.
Jim has always been interested in how we can engage in creating a more caring, healthy and prosperous practice of being in community and many roles and responsibilities have shaped his life. From living in the forest, making maple syrup, raising fjord horses, canoeing around the beautiful Island of CB with young people to championing and coordinated the Roots of Empathy Program in NS.
Since 2010 Jim has been a Municipal councillor for District 3 in Inverness County. He now spends his time and energy helping to facilitate the understanding, planning and investment needed to improve the determinants of what make our communities the best place for everyone and everything to grow up and grow old in.
