Public Outreach Education Officer, Cape Breton Highlands National Park, Parks Canada
With a background in biology and environmental education, a history of cross-cultural facilitation, and a deep personal connection to place(s), Nadine has spent many years putting Two Eyed Seeing into practice.
She worked closely with Albert and Murdena Marshall for many years with CBU’s Integrative Science Program, and later ran the education program with Mi’kmaq Environmental Learning Centre, developing culturally relevant programs that foster (re)connection with culture and our environment.
Nadine now works with Parks Canada, engaging communities in Parks activities.
She volunteers as chair of ACAP Cape Breton’s board of directors, and spends her free time with her family on hiking trails, on beaches, and playing in their backyard.
